| Based on the script from Wil Liu; Export marker frame numbers and labels to a .TXT file for subsequent use in DVD Lab Pro 2.0 for chapter creation. In conjunction with Vegas 7.0, this allows you to set frame accurate chapters in DVD Lab Pro. You should verify each chapter as DVD Lab will sometimes set the chapter on a nearby I-Frame even though the frame number specified does have an I-Frame.Downloads |

| Fairly new to Vegas. I thought I’d share my idea for a credit roll effect, and get some feedback in the process. It could be used for other than a credit roll as well. You will need to replace the “california_sunset_qt.mov” that the .veg points to with your own file.Downloads |

| This Vegas 6 script finds all events on the selected track which completely overlap another event. This is almost never something you really want. Often, small event “slivers” get left behind during the editing process, some of them only one or two frames long. These are very difficult to find. This script will put a marker at each such event so you can delete or move them. Download |

Purpose: This script will fix a bad video frame by deleting that frame and replacing it with the previous frame. Audio is unaffected. Use: To use, select the event that contains the bad frame. Position the cursor so you can see the bad frame in the preview window. Then, run the script.Downloads |

Fade this event AND the event on the track below (audio) to black. Fade length is set using distance from cursor position to end of event that is under the cursor on the first selected track. If there is an audio track under the selected track, it is also faded. If the track below is not audio, nothing is done to that track. Also fade beginning of NEXT event(s) by the same exact amount. Thus, the video and audio fade to black, and then fade back up from black, all with one key press (if you assign the script to a key), without having to drag any envelopes. Everything is set by the position of the cursor relative to the end of the event. Download |

Three scripts to automate and reduce errors when doing cuts-only editing. First script cuts from current cursor location to beginning of event. Second script deletes the event under the cursor. Third script selects events under the cursor. The cut scripts position the cursor in front of the next event, and highlight that event to make it easy to see where to continue editing. Included readme file contains instructions. Updated for Vegas 6, and also now handles multiple takes. Download |

This script will change the aspect ratio of all the video media in the project’s media pool to match that of the project. This could be useful when shooting anamorphic.Downloads |

| This script will reset the beginning timecode to zero (00:00:00;00) for all the media in the media pool. If you are using AVI files with other programs that don’t recognize imbedded timecode, this is make Vegas essentially ignore the imbedded timecode too by setting all clips to start at 00:00:00;00.
