I went to the movies yesterday and saw a neat blur/zoom combination used in titles for a trailer. Came home and found that even I could successfully duplicate the effect in Vegas. Download

This script will add a marker at a specified interval (i.e. every 5 minutes) over the length of a project. This can be useful for creating a DVD in DVD Architect with chapter points every 5 minutes or any other task that requires markers to be placed at a set interval. Download

Updated for Vegas 6 and 7 (tested on 7.0d).
This script creates true time lapse movies from the multiple one-second clips that many camcorders record when put in “time-lapse” mode. It saves only the last frame from each event on the selected video track, and deletes everything else, including the resulting gaps between events.
Only the first selected track is affected. Download |

I changed the filename because the system here still downloads the previous file although I have modified it. A very handy mpeg2/vc1/h.264 calculator. Use it for bitrate budgeting of your DVD, HD-DVD and Blu-Ray projects. It calculates the average and maximum data rate of the video streams to be encoded, according to the length of the Video asset, the audio streams and/or any other extra features in the project. This is the previous mpeg2 calculator posted here but updated to support HD authoring and multichannel uncompressed PCM audio UPDATED: Support for authoring BD, HDDVD on DVD DL 8.5 GB and corrected the bitrate and max bitrate values according to official specs.Download

This script is based on Johnmeyer´s script which places markers at media changes. This modification allows placing markers at event start points even if all events “come” from the same media file. Download
